Peace to you all,
I trust you had a blessed Mother’s Day weekend.
By the grace of God, we shared meaningful times of worship and fellowship at all three churches. At Hodgdon, Stacy prepared roses to honor our mothers, along with a wonderful children’s message on the five love languages. At Houlton, Angie coordinated a beautiful, traditional mother-and-daughter tea-time-style fellowship, complete with lovely flower decorations and delicious homemade bakery. She was also helped by our Sunday School children. And Bertrand’s cake was a sweet treat for everyone! At Mars Hill, some grown children came to visit their mothers and honored them by joining worship together, which was deeply touching.
All these simple yet sincere acts of love made our gatherings truly special.
Also, several children—both young and grown—surprised their mothers by sharing heartfelt tributes. If you missed them, I encourage you to watch them here:

Let us continue to celebrate and honor our mothers—not just once a year, but each day—with gratitude, love, and prayer.
Please join me in this prayer, adapted from the Book of Common Prayer:
Almighty God, we give you thanks for mothers and for all who nurture and care for others in love.
We remember especially those who have given us life, those who have guided us in faith, and those who have shown us your grace through their care.
Bless all mothers—past, present, and soon-to-be.
Comfort those who grieve, and strengthen those who struggle.
May your mothering love enfold every heart this day, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Wishing you a joyful and grace-filled week. Love you all.
Pastor Victor
